Discovering Carey Island

This is our 1st attempt to discover Carey Island, bcoz we were shy and chicken enuf to get down from the car to visit their residence one by one...we were like stranger intruding the aborigines' village. And we wanted to have our 2nd attempt on this February which is their Hari Moyang and the Mah Meri would have annual prayers and feast on that day.

And these are what we had found ->

this little boy ran for his life when we trying to get closer to him

but these children posting for us to shoot photos

and palm seeds lying everywhere

their offerings placing inside this 'hut'

one of their wood craft which is quite amazing!
