Blueyebabe was being dragged to hike Gunung Nuang this morning...really tiring~ coz have to wake up at 4am to meet up with other friends at Cheras toll. Then after some light breakie, we departed to Kuala Pangsoon which located in Hulu Langat, where the trail started from.
We have to pay entrance fees and registered ourself before we started our first step. After all of us were well prepared, we took a deep breathe then start our trek. Just a few minutes of walking, Peter, Albert, Joyce, Victor, Christy and Julie were ahead and left Steven, William and me at far behind... (hehe, this time Blueyebabe no form, maybe due to too long no exercise)
Steven was the last of the group, Julie slow down to wait for him. We were splitted into 2 groups later becoz 4 of us: Blueyebabe, William, Steven + Julie were really very far behind until Peter ran back to lead us the way, while the others continued their trail by following another groups. Finally we reached the Lolo camp site after almost 3 hours walk. But somehow we did not see them waiting for us at the camp site, perhaps they have gone to the peak as they blindly follow other group. So 4 of us took some rest at the Lolo camp site and start cooking 'Chinese Spagetti' while Peter trailed them and lead them back to the camp site.
After finished cooking the 'Chinese Spagetti' , they also reached the camp site and all of us enjoyed eating, playing & chit chatting at the waterfall. After 2 hours of rest, I started get sleepy due to lack of sleep last nite, so I just sit down and took a nap... They continue talking and talking until I woke up, and then I joined their chit chat sessions till late afternoon and we start packing and go back.
Basically, hiking Gunung Nuang is pretty boring and tiring, you just have to keep walking, and walking, crossing the rocky stream, dealing with moderate to high steepness trail, and there is nothing much to see except some large insects along the trail. Most probably I wont go for the second time if nobody drag me again...
