We took train (Eurostar) from London to France. In just about 2 hours+, we have reached Paris Gare Du Nor station. We felt so alien when we step out from the train station, when we looked at the map we both terus pengsan~ There are no English wording in the map, and the french letters could hardly read nor recognize. We stood in front of the board analyzing the map for about half and hours, and then gave up and go straight to the counter and asked the customer service.
We stayed in Corona Opera Hotel, which located quite near to the metro Gare de Lyon station. Paris is an ancient city with romantic feel but then somehow we felt this place is dirty and smelly. People here tends to pee at anywhere in the public after drinking too much wine/beer.

At night, we went to Galeries Lafayette Department Store to shop for branded stuffs. I always wanted a Chanel handbag, so after long consideration and queuing twice at the Chanel retail, finally I have bought this Channel classic flap in quilted calfskin (similar to Channel 2.55).
