It was a boring Saturday afternoon and we have got nothing to do. After woke up from a short nap, we decided to go for a whirlwind makan trip. At first plan to go Temerloh for patin fish dinner, but then Temerloh is a place that we both not familiar at all...so the idea is banned. And next preference is Malacca for Hainan pork satay...yum yum~❤ oh yes, it's Malacca again! Ha Ha Ha! never sien~
When we reached Malacca town, it was about 3pm+... first thing first is => cari makan! coz the traffics in the town is getting jam and our stomach is getting grumpy. We stopped by 新味香 which is located at 50/50A, Jalan Kota Laksamana 1/1, Taman Kota Laksamana, 75200, Melaka. Yes, it's the same restaurant again, we never get tired of the crunchy grilled pork satay...what to do? pork satay is so difficult to find in the city of halal and it is actually a precious food!

The next thing is to find a budget hotel. The Pergola Hotel that we stayed last time was full, so we search and search, finally we get a hotel - Queenspark Hotel with one last vacant room which is a family room with 2 queen beds, cost RM178. (It's not budget anymore :( but luckily it is quite clean) Anyhow, we checked in and refreshed ourselves before our trip to Jonker Street.
We had our 'dinner' at Jonker Street along the way we walked, from durian cendol, sweet potato kuih, Portuguese egg tart, Josephine pineapple, durian puff... phew! a lot of food but then don't get me wrong, all these food I just taste 1 bite nia~~ at the end of the street, I suddenly get hungry and craved for fish balls.. so, we went to Yong Peng Restaurant at Melaka Raya for a few pieces of Yong Tou Fu.
That's the end of the day and we headed back to Queenspark Hotel. The next day, we can't resist to have a heavy breakfast at 中华茶室 due to the yummy fast selling Hainan chicken rice ball. To our surprise, the shop owner has changed strategy of the way they do business - they are now selling chicken rice with gate close! and cause a long queue outside the restaurant. Good trick!
